Uh oh, my old blog has gone kaput!

It’s a new decade, and time to make some much-needed changes. A while back I decided to shell out a bit of cash and purchase the “andregarrigo.com” domain name. My original intention was to port my old blog over to this domain. That didn’t happen. Instead I will be doing a bit of rebranding, taking a more professional approach to what I upload onto this site.

For now I have decided to split everything up into several main categories that correlate with my professional interests:

1. Technology — My main passion in life (and what I would love to build a career around) is technology. Expect the majority of posts on this site to be tech-centric.
2. Economics — This is what I do. Find anything and everything that pertains to the economy here.
3. Travel — Dude, I love to travel! I’ve been fortunate enough to visit more countries than most. I’ve also had the chance to live abroad. I intend on keeping friends and family updated with that sort of stuff in this section of the website.
4. Miscellaneous — Sometime posts simply won’t adhere to any of the above categories. From book reviews to general rants, everything else will go here.
